The Fox Valley Vixens Rugby Club was reestablished in 2011, bringing women's rugby to Saint Charles and the western suburbs of Chicago. Since then, the Vixens have grown into one of the fastest-growing women’s rugby clubs in the Chicago area, competing as part of the Chicago Area Rugby Football Union (CARFU).

At the heart of Vixen rugby is the belief that rugby is for everyone. The team makes fun a priority both on and off the pitch, because that’s what the game is all about. Stepping on to the pitch with the Vixens is a chance to build friendships and connections that last well beyond the final whistle.

The Vixens maintain that inclusivity strengthens the rugby community. We welcome and celebrate all players, supporters, and friends of the club, including those of transgender, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming identities. We are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment where everyone can thrive - on and off the pitch.
